Class P2 1995 - 2

The unbridled success they enjoyed was never more palpable than in 1995 as Bohinc dominated the Martini Endurance Trophy again and claimed victory in the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes and Viareggio-Bastia-Viareggio to boot.

In addition, he thrived in the P2 Class on his way to becoming the overall winner of the prestigious Harmsworth Trophy that year.

Buzzi had already enjoyed phenomenal success in the competition and this latest victory further cemented his dominance and that of the hulls which bore his name.

Bohinc went on to make an impact further afield in the November of that year – riding the crest of a wave – he took a bronze medal away from the Superboat World Championship in Key West, Florida.

This inspired pairing of two legends in their field proved to be the catalyst for the most successful 12 months of a dynamic career in powerboating for Hannes Bohinc.

For so many reasons, 1995 was a golden year.
